OVERVIEW

The Female Founders Investment Readiness - Capability Program is a business development program designed to equip women-founded and women-led organisations at the pre-investment and investment stages of their business journey to successfully navigate an investment round.

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

TORUS Club is a 4-month program delivered by TORUS VC, tailored for female founders ready to raise a pre-seed or seed round.

Benefits

  • Access Torus Club’s proven fundraising program, designed to help founders raise capital in half the time.
  • Gain expert guidance, tailored resources, and a supportive community to fast-track your success.
  • Eligible applicants will receive a report from their completed Torus Investment Readiness Assessment (valued at $1,000 AUD).

What the program will cover:

    • Access to all Torus Community resources, plus:
    • Capped cohorts to maximise success rates.
    • Guided capital raise & marketing roadmaps covering preparation, marketing, and closing.
    • Weekly 45-minute group coaching calls for raise prep and investor CRM management.
    • Graduation process to ensure you’re ready to raise within 12 weeks.
    • Investor and advisor introductions, including curated investor lists.
    • Pitch deck and roadmap reviews.
    • Support with equity, legal, and finance questions.

KEY DATES

  • EOIs Open: 12th May 2026 at 9am
  • EOIs Close:  3rd June 2026 at 3pm

Process / Assessment

1️⃣ Submit Your EOI

  • Submit your Expression of Interest (EOI). Eligible applicants will receive a link to complete the Torus Investor Readiness Assessment.

2️⃣ Complete the Torus Investor Readiness Assessment

  • Answer 25 strategic questions and upload key documents. Gain valuable insights into your investment readiness.

3️⃣ Joint Review

  • Applications will be reviewed by Torus and Queensland Government Innovation Division representatives, assessing business fundamentals and growth potential.

4️⃣ Selection & Onboarding

  • The 4 successful applicants will be onboarded into Cohort 3 of the Torus Club program.

Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible to participate in the program, organisations must meet the following requirements:

Is the applicant organisation headquartered in Queensland (operating and having its head office located in Queensland)? * Required
For the purposes of this program "Located in Queensland" is any organisation that has a physical office in Queensland and has an ABN which states its "Main business location" is in Queensland.
Does the applicant organisation have an ABN? * Required
Is the applicant organisation ABN registered in Queensland as the main business location? * Required
Is your business majority Female Owned? Must be at least 51% of shares held by a woman/woman (at least six months before application) * Required
If the female founder’s shares are held within a trust, the applicant organisation will be required to demonstrate how it meets the eligibility criteria above
Does the applicant organisation and/or related parties have 50 or less full time equivalent employees? * Required
Are you a subsidiary of a group of companies that has more than 50 full-time-equivalent employees in total * Required
